清理电脑的时候发现了一个体积达到数百兆的 ShellExtIO.log 日志文件，在Bitorrent Sync文件夹里面，不知道是什么时候下载的，这个应用已经不在电脑上了。

尝试了一下删除这个文件，发现无法删除。于是在网上搜了下，发现有不少人遇到了类似的情况。于是尝试了打开文件，然后删除内容，想着要是不继续写入新的东西，留着就留着了。但是删除内容后，不断F5刷新文件夹，发现此文件在不断变大，应该是在记录操作，于是就在网上搜彻底删除的方法，然后发现了下面这个：

Its a known issue, but since I’d rather not manually mess with the registry, I used a few well known tools to delete this file. The issue should be fixed with newer builds.

I did two things – firstly I used shellextview to disable any explorer shell extensions related to bitorrent sync. Resilio Sync (the newer build) has its own, so no clue why these where still there. I’m not sure if its essential, and if it actually helped, since I couldn’t delete the file after that

Then I used sysinternals process explorer to identify any process with handles on the file – using ctrl F to search for it,

For some reason firefox, whatpulse and explorer had handles so I closed firefox and whatpulse, and removed the handles for explorer through process explorer – just rightclick and close any that are there

This let me delete the file the usual way.
